Grade 1, Mrs. Fitzgibbons’ and Mrs. Peterson’s classes, are busy participating in Johnny Rocket’s Reader Club. The club is designed to encourage a love of reading. Children read two books per month and complete a book report on each book. I’m sure the coupon they receive for a free ice cream sundae makes the whole process a lot sweeter.
A good way to promote life-long reading habits!

Best wishes to seventh graders Nicole Picinich and Andrea Schelmety who were accepted into the People to People World Leadership Forum. They along with other students will travel to Washington, D.C., March 15-20 to “study leadership and explore some of the US’s most prominent monuments and institutions”. We are proud of these young ladies and wish them a safe and educational trip.

The enclosed information sheet and order form for our Spring Fundraiser is for a lovely affair we will be having on Friday, March 26th at the Hyatt Regency on the Hudson in Jersey City. It is a cocktail party and silent auction.
The proceeds will go toward our Technology Initiative.
